About Us

The department of Civil Engineering established in 2013 has the distinction of being the oldest department in the institute. The department has kept updating to well-equipped laboratories and research. The department is proud to have a Plumbing laboratory which is one of its kinds in an engineering institute, in addition to the conventional laboratories of Surveying, Geotechnical, Environmental, Transport, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Concrete Technology etc. The faculty believes in high quality teaching and is very active in projects, conferences and research papers. The department offers consultancy in various fields of Civil engineering to reputed government and private sectors.

HOD Message

-Prof. Sayali R Dharne

A warm and affectionate welcome from the Department of Civil Engg. at VPS College of Engg. And Technology. is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works such as bridges, roads, canals, dams and buildings.
Our department has a team of qualified and experienced faculty and staff members and we are striving hard continuously to improve upon the quality of education and to maintain its position of leadership in engineering and technology. We always work with the motto "Nothing can be achieved without genuine effort." The core values of the department help the students to develop their overall personality and make them worthy technocrat to compete and work at global level. Our department has been conducting seminar / conferences since its beginning to keep the faculty and students abreast with the latest developments in the field of technical education.
I am certain that our students will prove to be an invaluable asset to an organization.
